Pain

Well .... Her pain is back ... With a vengeance. I want to sit and cry, but A is crying plenty for the both of us. Boy does not understand. He tries, gets confused, asks mommy to stop crying, gets no where, but still soldiers on. He's a trooper for sure. Obviously, so is A. I've no idea how she puts up with the pain. It kills me to see her like this. The worst part for me is that I thought we had a solution. But the doctor we consulted with turned out to be less helpful than he first appeared. We have another appt. sometime with yet another doctor. The trial implant worked, we just need to be comfortable with the doctor who performs the surgery AND the office staff in the practice. We were comfortable with the previous doctor (for a time) but less than comfortable with the staff. There was no way, zero, to get through to a person when you called in. That's a deal breaker when you have a device implanted into your body. We wanted more support than that. We were going to investigate this practice, but as soon as A found out the fix was very invasive surgery that included some pins and fusing some vertebrae, she dismissed it. She's no fan of surgery. It was a minor miracle that she was willing to get an implant. Please say a brief prayer that she can get back on her feet soon. thanks.

Good Quote

I love this quote:
A liberal is a person whose interests aren't at stake at the moment.
Willis Player
interesting that it comes from Michael Moncur's (Cynical) Quotations. I'm not saying all liberals are this way, but it sure appears that all of the liberals in politics are.

Two for the Complaint Department

I wonder what makes these people think that they can change the 7 Wonders of the World? Who gave them the authority? What makes them think that anyone will change what has been taught to them for ages? Perhaps they will enforce the new 7 on us in some way, but how? Is there some secret New 7 Wonders Militia we know nothing about? I don't care what the New 7 Wonders are, I will stick with the "old" ones. I think they are wonderful.

How come there are no "Wibbly Wobbily Muhammad or Buddha Detectors"? Oh, right, that would be politically incorrect. Just another shot at Christianity. I should be used to it, but I'm not. Soon, Christianity will not be the largest religion in the world. The largest will be Islam. Time for Christianity to be treated as a minority. Time to make fun of Islam. Think that will happen?

I'm gadget guy. Everyone knows that. Which is why I love these recorded sounds. I'm in the process of downloading them now so I can rush more people off the phone.

Hard out here for a Pimp?

I never heard of this song until it won the Oscar for best song (the tune is still stuck in my head. I admit, it's catchy). Shouldn't it be hard for a pimp? I mean, they are breaking the law, right? They are abusive to women. If it's hard for them, good. Right? Karma works its magic again.
